Ward chair found dead in Baglung

The ward chair of Tarakhola Rural Municipality-3 in Baglung district was found dead on Wednesday morning, police said.
According to the Area Police Office in Tarakhola, 50-year-old Karna Bahadur Bhandari was found hanging in a shed located around 50 metres north of his residence in Kankrakhor.
A police team led by Sub-Inspector Bishnu Prasad Sharma reached the site and recovered the body. An investigation into the incident is underway, officials said.
Bhandari had been elected in the local elections as a representative of the CPN (Maoist Centre).
The body will be handed over to the family after a post-mortem examination, police added.
