Lebanon manage consolation victory over Kyrgyzstan in Four Nations Cup
Lebanon’s victory ended their campaign on a positive note, but Kyrgyzstan have to leave the tournament without a point to their name.

Lebanon secured a 2-0 victory over Kyrgyzstan in their final match of the Four Nations Cup on Sunday, despite both teams already being eliminated from the final race. The win provided Lebanon with some consolation, as they had been defeated in their opening two matches.
With the win, Lebanon concluded the tournament in third place with 3 points, while Kyrgyzstan, having lost all three of their matches, finished at the bottom of the standings with no points. Both goals for Lebanon came in the first half at the Dasharath Stadium.
Christy Maalouf opened the scoring in the 22nd minute with a stunning shot from outside the penalty area, and Mya Rose Callil doubled the lead just a minute later in the 23rd minute. While both teams created chances in the second half, neither could find the back of the net.
Lebanon’s victory ended their campaign on a positive note, but Kyrgyzstan had to leave the tournament without a point to their name.
In the second match of the day, Nepal will face Myanmar. Both teams have earned 6 points from their previous two wins, making the upcoming match a decisive encounter for a spot in the final, which is scheduled for February 26.
