Pop Up by Marsyangde
Showcasing women’s wear produced using zero-waste concept of recycling and upcycling.Post Report
Marsyangde, a new clothing brand in the market, is organising its first Pop Up event at Villa 72, Uttar Dhoka. Launched on January 1, 2023, the Nepali brand focuses on sustainability and believes in the possibility of creating in-demand clothing without producing excess waste.
The leftover pieces of fabric are recycled and upcycled to make hats and caps.
“We started as a women-only clothing brand. We hope to bring men’s wears as well in the future”, says Arsya Giri, founder of Marsyangde. With the concept of zero-waste designs, the brand aims to make people understand that sustainable fashion is not loose and bohemian.
The event, happening this Saturday and Sunday, will have the products of Marsyandge on display for visitors to buy, try, and order clothes of customised sizes. Clothes of limited designs and stocks will be available at the Pop Up event.
