Scotland set 275-run target for Nepal

Scotland has set a target of 275 runs for Nepal in the ongoing Triangular series of the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup League 2 being held at TU Cricket ground in Kirtipur on Friday.
Earlier, Nepal won the toss and elected to field.
Nepal made a decent start with the ball claiming the first wicket of Scottish skipper Richie Berrington in 7.4 overs with 34 runs on the board. Berrington scored 19 runs off 25 balls before being caught and bowled by Kushal Malla. Opener Christopher McBride was the next batsman to go, scoring 22 runs for his team. He was caught behind by wicketkeeper Ashif Sheikh off Malla’s delivery.
Sandeep Lamichhane caught Matthew Cross (2) and Tomas Mackintosh (19), leg before in 14.5 and 16.5 overs respectively. Chris Greaves (16) was the next Scot to head for the pavilion after being caught behind by Sheikh off Kushal Burtel’s delivery in 23.2 overs.
Michael Leask, who came into the field at number seven, held Scot's inning together, as he scored his first century. Leask hammered 107 runs off 85 deliveries and remained not out. Jack Jarvis and Mark Watt put up 26 and 20 on the board and Chrish Sole scored five runs for the Scots, before being caught by Rohit Paudel off Sompal Kami’s delivery in the last ball of the slated 50 overs.
