Post Report
Poet Dinesh Adhikari’s poetry collection ‘Paaniko Parade’ has been officially launched. Marking 50 years since his poetry was first published, Publication Nepalaya released the collection.
Adhikari recalled that his poetic journey began in 1976 when two of his poems were published in Ratna Shree. At the event, he reminisced about visiting the homes of legendary poets like Siddhicharan Shrestha, Kedar Man Vyathit, Bhupi Sherchan, and Basu Shashi, considering them literary landmarks.
The collection features 77 poems written over the past 15 years, categorised into seven sections. During the launch, Adhikari gifted copies of his book to poets Momila and Navaraj Lamsal. He also invited his wife, Usha Adhikari, to the stage and presented her with a copy.
Publication Nepalaya’s editor, Bimal Acharya, praised Adhikari’s ability to express emotions, calling ‘Paaniko Parade’ a vibrant poetic canvas. Nepalaya continues its tradition of publishing at least one poetry book annually.
The price of the 180-page book is Rs525.
