A school bus caught fire in Rupandehi on Thursday morning.
The incident occurred in ward 4 of Suddodhan Rural Municipality, when the bus belonging to Little Flower Secondary School caught fire just as it approached the school’s premises.
According to the school’s principal Dil Kumari Foudar, the bus suddenly started emitting smoke, prompting the driver to act immediately. The fire broke out while approximately 45 students were on board.
All students, along with the driver and his helper, were safely evacuated without injuries.
