Shreeya Giri makes it to Forbes’ 30 under 30 Asia list

Shreeya Giri, 28, has been named to Forbes’ 30 Under 30 List, which includes 300 young entrepreneurs, leaders, and trailblazers from across the Asia-Pacific region.
Giri, who is the founder of Nepali digital mental health platform Happy Minds, was listed by the prestigious magazine under the social impact category.
Happy Minds, Giri’s brainchild, is a Nepali digital mental health platform that offers individual online and face-to-face counselling, as well as group workshops. The platform’s innovative approach and impact were recognised when it was named the best newcomer from Nepal at the 2022 South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation Startup Awards.
Forbes on Thursday announced the ninth edition of its ‘30 Under 30 Asia’ list. They were listed under ten categories— the arts (art and style, food and drink); entertainment and sports; finance and venture capital; media, marketing and advertising; retail and e-commerce; enterprise technology; industry, manufacturing and energy; healthcare and science; social impact and consumer technology.
Other notable persons from Asia featured in the 2024 list include the K-pop girl band Ive, Singaporean track and field athlete Veronica Shanti Pereira, Japan’s youngest mayor, Ryosuke Takashima of Ashiya City, and many others.
Forbes said the 2024 list features a diverse set of 30 Under 30 listees, with 21 countries and territories represented across the Asia-Pacific region. India had the most with 86 entries, followed by China and Japan (32 each), Singapore (27), Australia (26) and Indonesia (18).
