Police provide free bus service
In order to provide respite to people suffering from the ongoing fuel crisis, Nepal Police has come up with free bus ride service for denizens of the Capital.In order to provide respite to people suffering from the ongoing fuel crisis, Nepal Police has come up with free bus ride service for denizens of the Capital.
According to police, it started the free bus ride services from Saturday. “We wanted to help the people and felicitate their mobility by providing free bus service. We will continue the service until the fuel crisis eases,” informed spokesperson of Nepal Police, DIG Kamal Singh Bam.
As per Bam, the police will add one more route of bus service from Tuesday. All three routes will begin from Naxal at 11 in the morning and ends at the same place at 1:30 pm.
The first route which starts at 11 am in Naxal goes to Putalisadak, Maitighar, Kupondole, Pulchowk, Jawalakhel, Ekantakuna, Balkhu, Kalanki, Kalimati, Tripureshwor, Sahid Gate, Ratnapark and back to Naxal.
The second route starts from Naxal to Maitidevi, Gaushala, Koteshwor, Tinkune, Babarmahal, Maitighar, Tripureshwor, Saidh Gate, Lainchour, Lazimpat, Narayanchour, Baluwatar and ends at Naxal.
The third route one begins from Naxal before heading towards Jay Nepal, Lainchour, Sorhakutte, Nayabazaar, Balaju, Naya Bus Park, Narayan Gopalchowk, Sukedhara, Ratopul and back to Naxal.
Nepal police has put up the timing of the bus on each station on its Facebook and Twitter pages.
