PM Koirala meets injured of Madhes agitation at Bir Hospital

On the occasion, the Prime Minister said that the entire treatment costs of the injured would be borne by the government.
The PM also met with patients’ relatives and urged them to immediately inform him if they feel or encounter any difficulty in the treatment of their relatives.
He further said the government has initiated talks with the agitating political parties and groups by forming the talks team. The Prime Minister took stock of the health condition of the injured from doctors involved in their treatment, according to the PM’s press coordinator Prakash Adhikari. He directed the hospital to leave no stone unturned for the best treatment to those admitted to the hospital after being injured in the agitations.
During the visit, the Prime Minister was accompanied by Minister for Forest and Soil Conservation Mahesh Acharya, Minister for Health and Population Khagaraj Adhikari, Home Secretary Surya Silwal and Health and Population Secretary Shanta Bahadur Shrestha. RSS
