After the appointment in the posts that remained vacant for almost 13 months, NHRC Chairman Anup Raj Sharma expressed commitment to implement the work efficiently despite difficulties along the way.
Sharma said that the country would find an outlet if the second Constituent Assembly could draft the constitution on time which would also bring reforms in the human rights situation.
He added that the human rights sector could make progress if knowledge relating to it could be spread to villages from the city centers.
The newly appointed Chairman Sharma including members Sudeep Pathak, Prakash Wasti, Govinda Sharma Poudel and Mohana Ansari assumed office today.
