A motorcyclist died after a bus operated by the Kanchan English Secondary School, Lalitpur, knocked him down at around 5:45 am on Sunday.
Critically injured Hareram Thapa, 34, of Lele VDC-6 from the district died on the way to the hospital.
The bus (Ba 1 Ka 5611) heading to Lele from Chapagaun to pick up students hit the motorcycle (Ba 59 Pa 1903) coming from the opposite direction at Tikabhairav of the VDC.
The bus has been impounded while its driver Dipak Dahal has been taken under police control and kept at Metropolitan Police Circle, Chapagaun, for necessary legal action, said Pawan Giri, Deputy Superintendent of Police.
