Electing to bat first, New Vision were restricted for 118-9 after man-of-the-match Bishal Babu Adhikari picked up three wickets. GHCA replied with 119-5 in 16.1 overs. The defeat knocked out New Vision.
GHCA had a decent start after Prakash Bista and Shubham Agrawal (eight) added 36 runs for the first wicket. Bista made 32 off 24 after slamming seven fours.
Rupesh Srivastav then shared 39 runs for the fifth wicket with Pradeep Tandon (eight) and unbeaten 25 with Adhikari (nine not out) taking the team across the line. Srivastav made 26 not out off 25 balls with three boundaries. Khatri returned with figures of 3-20 from four overs.
Earlier, Lokesh Regmi top scored for New Vision with 22 off 19 with one four and a six, while Man Bahadur Thapa made 21 off 19 with four fours. Ashish Pokhrel also picked up two wickets for GHCA.
