The three-day tournament will be participated in by five development regions, Nepal Police Club, Nepal APF Club and University Team. The participating teams have been divided into two groups with the top two finishers making it to the semi-finals.
The champions will receive a cash prize of Rs 51,000, while the second and third-place finishers will take home Rs 31,000 and Rs 21,000. The tournament will serve as a selection for the national women’s volleyball team, informed the NVA President Dan Bahadur Tamang during a press conference.
Meanwhile, the volleyball governing body on Monday also unveiled the logo for the upcoming first Saff Women’s Volleyball Championship during the programme. Nepal
are hosting the inaugural edition of the tournament from December 19-23 at the National Sports Council covered hall.
