The alliance of Madhesi and Janajati parties that recently concluded its second-phase of Kathmandu-centric protests will organise relay hunger strike at Khullamanch in Kathmandu from June 7 to 14.
In a statement issued on Monday, Gathabandhan coordinator Upendra Yadav said that literary, cultural programmes and mass assembly will be organised at the hunger strike venue after 3 pm every day to make the agitation effective.
The alliance, which has strong reservations over the new constitution, has been organising Capital-centric protests from May 14 to pile pressure on the government to address their demands of rewriting the new constitution and implementing the past pacts signed with various groups.
The parties aligned with the Gathabandhan have warned of continuing their protests until their demands were met.
