The flow of patients
suffering from cold related
ailments has increased in
the district. According to
the District Hospital, around 20 to 25 people are visiting
the health facility on a
daily basis.
In Parsa, a chilly weather has been experienced in the past three days. Elderly citizens and children have been affected the most. As sunlight is nil or dim, people have been confined to their homes.
Meanwhile, the drop in mercury levels has made life difficult in Bhojpur district. Shilingchung, Salpapokhari, Maiyung and Temke areas received thick snowfall in the past five days. People have been affected also in Tintale, Selme, Ghintang, Ghodetar and Chakhewa, with some complaining of headache, fever and common cold.
