The prison term of 11 inmates at the Bharatpur Prison has been remitted on the occasion of the Dasain festival.
Inmates whose prison terms are remitted include those who had already completed 55 to 75 per cent of their total prison term and who had demonstrated good character, according to the prison management officials.
Of the 11 inmates pardoned off, three were doing time convicted of murder, three of attempted murder and five of theft and robbery, it is stated.
