APF to provide free bus service
The Armed Police Force (APF) has brought three buses into operation in the Capital starting Monday in order to facilitate commuters facing problems to find a bus in the evening.The Armed Police Force (APF) has brought three buses into operation in the Capital starting Monday in order to facilitate commuters facing problems to find a bus in the evening.
The service will be free of cost and passengers, especially the ailing, senior citizens and differently-abled ones, will be given high priority for the ride, according to the AFP. Operated in various routes and along main roads in the city, the buses will departure from the AFP’s headquarters at Halchowk, Swayambhu.
One bus will hover round the Ring Road connecting Kalanki, Sitapaila, Swoyambhu, Banasthali, Gongabu, Samakhushi, Basundhara, Maharajgunj, Dhumbarahi, Chabahil, Gaushala, Airport, Koteshwor, Gwarko, Satdobato, Ekantakuna and Balkhu.
Similarly, another bus goes through Kalanki, Balkhu, Ekantakuna, Satdobato, Gwarko, Koteshwor, Airport, Gaushala, Chabahil, Dhumbarahi, Maharajgunj, Basundhara, Samakhusi, Gongabu, Balaju, Banasthali, Syambhu and Sitapaila and returns to Kalanki.
Likewise, another bus sets out to Balaju, Sohrakhutte, Lainchaur, Jamal, Ratnapark, Tripureshwor, Thapathali, Baneshwor, Tinkune, Koteshwor and returns to Kalanki along the same route.
