Submitting the Report, Chairperson of the Committee, Prabhu Shah commented that although the Committee drew the attention of the authorities concerned towards expediting the appointment of the Nepalis Ambassadors to the foreign missions, curbing the cheating on the foreign employment and exploitation by paying lesser wages against the law-stipulated minimum wage fixation, no appropriate action was taken on the same.
Furthermore, he shared that the report also includes the issues like lack of due attention towards promoting country's tourism sector and failure of making the air transportation effective and safer.
The next meeting of Legislature-Parliament is scheduled on 11 October at 11:00 am.
