Parties agree to recall army to barracks, appeal for talks

A meeting of the three parties at PM’s residence in Baluwatar today decided to recall soldiers on condition that the Madhesis stage peaceful protests, sources said. The meeting also decided to lift all the prohibitory zones across the country.
Sources said that the talks with the agitating groups will now finally move ahead after the group too agreed to stage peaceful protests after the government decision to recall army from ground.
Forest Minister Mahesh Acharya is coordinating with the Bijay Kumar Gachhadar-led morcha and Tharuhat Struggle Committee for talks. Three big parties had given Minister Acharya the responsibility of coordination with the agitating groups for talks.
