In a statement on Tuesday, German Foreign Minister Frank Walter Steinmeier, said he expects Nepal government to focus all efforts on the acceleration of the reconstruction of public facilities and housing which were destroyed by the earthquake.
“I am hopeful that the violent unrests which have erupted these past weeks, especially in the Terai region, will be resolved through dialogue between demonstrators and the government, and that the inclusion of all nationalities be continued,” reads the statement.
“In this, Nepal can continue to count on our support.”

Also, France has welcomed the promulgation of new constitution in Nepal, saying that it marks the completion of the political process initiated in 2008.
"This is a key step toward continuing national reconciliation, restoring political stability and resturing to the path of development," read a statement issued by French Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Development.
