Death toll reaches 7,912

The number of people sustaining injuries in the quake has been counted at 17,871.
Similarly, 10,803 government buildings were completely damaged while 15,034 had suffered partial damages in the 7.6 magnitude quake. Also, the number of fully damaged public houses stands at 297,266 while 277,050 sustained partial damages, the Home Ministry's update stated.
Of total 5,477,224 households recorded as of the Census-2068 BS, some 10.96 per cent of the houses have been affected by the quake, according to the Home Ministry.
